The three new products of the commercial line of additives for coatings of Evonik are characterized by excellent insulation properties and heat resistance, even at temperatures up to 250 degrees Celsius.
It provides the following performance and sustainability benefits: Insulating coatings based on TEGO Therm products substantially reduce energy loss and also aid occupational health and safety, as they can significantly reduce the temperature of hot surfaces (safe touch).
Insulation coatings also provide protection against moisture penetration and therefore against corrosion under insulation (CUI). This significantly increases the service life of coated items.
A target application for this new generation of raw materials is the technical insulation of pipes, tanks or other components in industrial plants.
