Kaneka
"Kane Ace MX" is a novel core-shell rubber (CSR) from Kaneka, a hardening system for thermoset resins such as epoxy and unsaturated polyester.
It is supplied as a pre-dispersed masterbatch to optimize the dispersion of the particles. It considerably improves properties such as skin/impact, skin/lap-shear strength, impact resistance and durability without losing the heat resistance characteristics of epoxy and other thermo-hardening adhesives, coatings and paints.
Kaneka's "MS" polymers provide a basis for composing sealants and adhesives. These polymers also provide high strength combined with elasticity. New applications are sealants and adhesives found in the automotive and transportation industries, wind screen and adhesive panels.
