Intumescent paints are intended to protect a structure from the high temperatures caused by a fire, and thus prevent its collapse. On this subject we spoke with the engineer Quilyam Casallas of the multinational Sika who spoke about the application of these coatings in a very important architectural project in Medellín (Colombia).
