During the second half of the year, a seminar oriented to the formulation of coatings will be offered, especially what has to do with the changes in solvent-based and water-based systems in the Andean region, thanks to an alliance between The Star chapters in Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia and Aseter, from Peru.Felipe Laverde, president of the Association of Andean Technicians in Coatings in Colombia, confirmed that during the last edition of Andina Paint a meeting was held between the directors of each of the associations and as a result this seminar will be offered, which will also be accompanied by another series of events that aim to seek the updating of technicians.
The executive added that Star Colombia has invested its own resources for the financing of this type of events, so that even in times of crisis, the technical level of the formulators can be maintained, although he did not specify the exact value of said investment.
