International. Volunteers from akzoNobel's Vivechrom brand in Greece have helped restore the exterior façade of the historic National Technical University of Athens.
The company offered to supply both the paint and the labor after the cultural landmark was recently covered in graffiti. This is one of the oldest and most prestigious educational institutions in the country, which was founded in 1836.
"We are proud to have participated in the restoration of the exterior of the building," said Vivechrom CEO Makis Provatas. "As a company, we are committed to creating a better life for all everyday citizens, while focusing on the positive impact of color and always showing respect for heritage and culture."
