United States. Brookfield Engineering announced the donation of a Powder Flow Tester (PFT) to Kansas State University's (KSU) new Bulk Solids Innovation Center.
This new facility at KSU will be used to study and develop understanding of the handling of solid bulk materials, to improve businesses that in turn use these materials or manufacture the systems that transmit, store and distribute them.
The center of 13,000 square meters, the center has five research laboratories, as well as classrooms for practical training, education and conferences. This university-level research center is the only one of its kind in North America.
