Mexico. The official presentation of the Fabtech Mexico 2015 event was held, which is linked to the Coatech 2015 fair, specialized in paints and coatings and corrosion control, which will be held from May 5 to 7 at the facilities of Cintermex, Monterrey.

For his part, Jorge Arizmendi (photo), director of Coatech Mexico Expo, commented that in addition to the strength of the metalworking sector, the consumption of paints and coatings in Mexico also has a great presence, since it reached 870,000 metric tons in 2013, and is expected to increase to more than 998,000 metric tons in 2018, representing a market value of approximately 32,000 million pesos (about US $ 2,100 million - Anafapy Data, 2013).
The organizers announced that during the three days of exhibition four exhibitions will be held simultaneously, which will be connected to each other, which will allow visitors to move freely through the 25,000 m², in which more than 550 exhibiting companies from more than 24 countries, will show the most advanced in welding, robots, dies, machinery, technology, cuts, paints and coatings.
