Peru. With the aim of improving the distribution of its products to current and potential customers in Peru, Evonik announced its partnership with Peruquímicos S.A.C., a distributor of chemical products. The company will act as an agent and distributor of the lines of silicas, silanes and methacrylic monomers, used in various industrial segments.
With coverage throughout the Peruvian territory, the distribution agreement for these products began on the first of October; the main markets are paints, adhesives, rubber, plastic, pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic, agrochemical, among others. "It is a way to expand our presence in the Peruvian market, with more efficient services, uniting the experience of a local ally," said Flávio Martins, business manager in the Performance Polymers area for South America.
Among the products distributed by Peruquímicos S.A.C. are pyrogenic silicas; precipitated silicas; matting agents; pyrogenic silica dispersions; mixed pyrogenic oxides; functional organosylenes, silanes for rubbers; and functional organosylenes for the protection of civil construction structures and façade protection.
Also included are the products that make up the line of methacrylic monomers, such as methyl methacrylate, methacrylic acid and butyl methacrylate; methacrylamide, hydroxyesters, cross-linking agents, aminoesters and special esters.
