International. AkzoNobel has launched the latest edition of its annual global study of color trends, taking the opportunity to boost the company's newly launched Human Cities initiative, which has color as one of its main pillars.
At its headquarters in Amsterdam, the "Color Futures 2015" list is headed by the color of the year, the Copper Orange, which was selected by a panel of independent design and color experts, following in-depth research on new trends around the world.
"Color has a universal impact on our cities, lifestyles and living conditions," explains Ruud Joosten, managing director of AkzoNobel's decorative paints business. "As color experts, it means that forecasting and studied trends are a vital part of our business as it allows us to stay one step ahead of our customers' needs."
