International. With a growth of more than 14%, the 5th edition of the International Fair of Industrial Coating Technology, which was held from 8 to 11 April 2014, in Karlsruhe, Germany, recorded a new record of exhibitors and visitors.
PaintExpo was visited by 9,167 professionals from 70 countries who arrived with specific questions, concrete projects and firm contracts and were impressed by the wide range of offers.
"PaintExpo has evolved very well. There was a large number of exhibitors for all segments of industrial painting, so visitors could be informed in a specific and comprehensive way about all areas. And that was taken advantage of very well. We were able to make excellent new contacts and keep existing ones. For our participation in 2016 we will have more staff on the stand to be able to cater to the strong influx of visitors," says Bernd Dispan, sales manager at Grimm Pulverlacke GmbH.
The participation of the Clean Systems Technology division of the company Dürr Systems GmbH was very successful in its premiere at PaintExpo: "The Fair has gone very well for us. We had a lot of interesting conversations and were able to establish good contacts for new projects. Visitors came with specific questions and that was exactly what we had expected," said Thomas Scheiring of the company's Sales Department.
