Mexico. PPG Industries announced the distribution of Amercoat® brand products from its Protective & Marine Coatings (PMC) division in Mexico, for the civil infrastructure, marine industry, petrochemical, energy, oil and gas, offshore and railway sectors.
"We are pleased to bring to the Mexican industry solutions of color, sustainability and compliance with specific standards, which while allowing them to protect their assets, make it possible for them to save on maintenance costs," said Adriana Macouzet, president and CEO of PPG Latin America North.
PPG now markets the following products in Mexico:
- Surface-tolerant epoxy Amerlock® series protect steel and concrete structures such as offshore platforms, oil refineries, hydrocarbon storage and distribution facilities, as well as power generation plants and marine vessels under the most rigorous environmental conditions.
- Dimetcote® Series inorganic zinc primaries are designed to protect carbon steel from corrosion. They are available in water-based, solvent-based formulations with low VOC levels.
- PSX® 700 polysiloxane finish is a high-performance coating used in applications for the most demanding industrial environments.
