Colombia. From December 16 to 20, the Colombian Association of Corrosion and Protection (Ascor) will hold the Course on Coating Application and Surface Preparation in Villavicencio, Meta.
Some of the topics that will be presented in the course are Coating Technology, Standards and procedures of surface preparation (abrasive jet, mechanical and manual techniques), Coating application techniques (manual methods, Spraying with airless and low pressure equipment), Interpretation of technical data sheets and coating mixing process, Quality control in coating application processes, (EPH calibration, EPS, adhesion, film continuity, environmental conditions), Management of safety sheets, among others.
The course is aimed at operators of abrasive jet surface treatment equipment and coating applicators with spray methods. The value of the course is about US$135
