International. Lanxess announced that it has successfully completed the relocation of its main offices from Leverkusen to Cologne, Germany. Now the 1,000 employees who work there will be located at Kennedyplatz 1.
The specialty chemical company will now run its global business from Cologne. The group's new headquarters brings together for the first time all the company's core management functions under one roof.
"The move has made us more efficient," said Axel C. Heitmann, chairman of Lanxess' board of directors, during the official opening ceremony earlier this month. "Especially in the context of the current situation, the concentration of our forces in the Lanxess Tower is important. We intend to continue our success story and the new headquarters will certainly play its part."
