Colombia. The city of Medellín will host the ninth edition of the Latin American Corrosion Congress to be held from October 28 to 31, 2014.
The event is organized by the Colombian Association of Corrosion Engineers – Nace Colombia and Nace International and has the participation of corrosion professionals from Latin America and other parts of the world through presentations and technical conferences, training opportunities and spaces to share knowledge.
The trade show expects to have more than 120 companies, and the technical program plans to present more than 130 conferences, including topics such as Cathodic Protection in Oil and Gas Production, Corrosion Mitigation of Fire Protection Systems, Corrosion Problems Related to Water Systems and the Environment, Coating technologies for the oil and gas industry, corrosion inhibitors and localized corrosion phenomena, among others.
