Mexico. The National Association of Paint and Ink Manufacturers (Anafapyt) prepared the 2012 Mexican Paint Market Report, which is available in both Spanish and English.
The document, which was created with the purpose of guiding manufacturers and suppliers of the paints and related coatings sector the behavior of the market, includes the statistics and monograph of the Mexican paint industry, which contemplates the economy of the industry in general and by segments of paints (architectural, special purpose and original manufacturing) and its main consumer markets.
The information provided in this document is supported by data collected from the Economic Information Bank of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), Bank of Mexico (Banxico) and data provided by paint manufacturers.
In addition to other relevant sources among which stand out: the National Association of the Chemical Industry (ANIQ), the Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry (AMIA), the Mexican Institute of Aerosol (IMA) and the National Chamber of Metal Containers (Canafem).

Also, the fair of the paints and coatings sector was recently held, which attracted about 4,000 visitors and presented 40 hours of training. Anafapyt described the event as a success in a Mexican market that according to the organization moves around $ 28,500 million pesos (about US $ 2,200 million).
