Argentina. The multinational paint manufacturer PPG Industries announced an investment of about US$7,500,000 to refurbish its production plant located in the Buenos Aires town of Pilar.
With this initiative, the company will be able to increase its production and import substitution, in addition to investing in new technological equipment and strengthening the commercial strategy in the South American country.
According to Carlos Olivera Santa Cruz, president of PPG Industries for the Southern Cone, this project is part of a strategic decision of the company at a global level to increase production possibilities in Argentina.
It was also known that with the investment, the company will pronfudize in the production of areas of knowledge, highlighting its strong markets such as automotive repainting, paints for the industrial guild in white line and agricultural equipment, among other options.
