Mexico. The National Association of Paint and Ink Manufacturers (Anafapyt) and its main Technical Commission, the Mexican Institute of Paint and Ink Technicians (IMTPyT), recently held a Gala Dinner at the Banamex Center to recognize the achievements of the association during its 69 years of existence.
The event brought together associated companies manufacturers and suppliers from the paints, inks and coatings sectors and members of government agencies such as Sedena, Pemex, Ministry of Economy, Canacintra; It was also attended by former presidents, both from the association and the institute.
The departure of the outgoing president of the IMTPyT, Eng. Gerardo Gurrola Togasi and the arrival of Eng. Hugo Rey Tenorio García to the position were notified. Subsequently, Mr. Javier Maldonado, president of the Board of Directors of Anafapyt, presented a recognition to Mr. Sergio Enrique Cervantes, national president of Canacintra.
As a main part of the event, awards were given to each of the former presidents of Anafapyt and IMTPyT for their corresponding periods, to which the book "Relatos de Color" edited by Anafapyt was also given.
