Colombia. The Colombian Association of Corrosion and Protection (Ascor) will hold next September, from 17 to 22, the course for coating applicators, which will be held in the city of Villavicencio, capital of the department of Meta.
The course is aimed at operators of abrasive jet surface treatment equipment and coating applicators with spray methods, and with demonstrated experience of at least one year in surface treatment activities and application of coatings for corrosion control.
Some of the topics of the course are the following: Standards and procedures for surface preparation (abrasive jet, mechanical and manual techniques), Handling of safety sheets, Industrial Safety in coating application, Failures in coating application processes and Correction procedures, among others.
