International. Boeing Defence Australia (BDA), a subsidiary of Boeing, delivered two of the first 65 repainted aircraft to be received by the Royal Australian Air Force (Raaf) over the next three years.
The negotiation between the two parties involves US$20 million. The REFERENCE AIRCRAFT AP-3C, one of the first two delivered, lasted 30 days at the painting facilities of Air New Zealand's, where the aircraft also received simultaneous maintenance services. While C-130H Hercules lasted three weeks during the repainting process.
Over the next three years BDA will paint these aircraft on four of Raaf's platforms. This month it will continue to paint two more military aircraft from the Corrosion Control Center.
