Brazil. A mega workshop with more than 100 professionals dedicated to automotive repainting was carried out by the multinational Basf and its brand Salcomix in the town of Santo André, in Sao Paulo.
The objective, according to the company, is to offer the market personalized professional training for the latest technology products developed by the company, in order to perfect the processes in automotive repainting.
During the event, the Sarcomix Mobile Workshop was also launched, an inflatable structure that works as a mini cabin, equipped with all the requirements to be used in a real repainting process.
"Our goal is to promote effective training that allows the direct contact of repainting professionals with the products we offer. With the mobile cab we managed to recreate the atmosphere of a workshop, with all the necessary infrastructure and safety to promote the practice of what has been taught to professionals," said Andrea Orlandi, marketing manager of Basf's automotive refinish coatings business.
The company reported that it already has planned another five mega workshops to be held in 2012, in order to serve a large part of the repainting market in different states of Brazil.
