Argentina. Clariant revealed that it will expand its production of Mowilith emulsions so it installed a reactor in its emulsion plant in the Argentine industrial unit to improve its production capacity by 35%, according to the company.
With this new investment, the firm, which has experience in polymer emulsions and technical knowledge in applications and developments of different solutions, will expand its product portfolio, incorporating into its local production, among others, a line of elastomeric terpolymers and new emulsion alternatives for enamels and aqueous varnishes.
"The expansion of our capacity and the introduction of new products will allow us to increase participation in the various market segments where we operate (Paints, adhesives, construction, textile, leather and paper)," said Sven Schultheis, director and global leader of the Business Unit Emulsions.
