Brazil. At the end of April 2010, the Brazilian Association of Paint Manufacturers (Abrafati) elected a new Board of Directors and Fiscal Council for the period from 2010 to 2012. The Executive Presidency of Abrafati is held by Dilson Ferreira.Antonio Carlos de Oliveira, Dupont of Brazil, has been appointed as the new chairman of the Board of Directors, and as first and second vice-presidents are Antonio Carlos M. Lacerda, of Basf, and Fernando Val and Val Peres, of Sherwin Williams, respectively.
The group of advisors is made up of nine industry professionals such as: Aldo Gandolfi Junior (Montana), André Niero (AkzoNobel), Antonio Roberto P. da Cruz (Isocoat), Claudio Ferreira de Oliveira (Eucatex), Douver Gomes Martinho (Universo), Fernando José da Costa (PPG), Marcelo Cenacchi (Renner Sayerlack), Milton José Killing (Killing) and Reinaldo Richter (WEG).
The Fiscal Council is composed of Áurea Renata Rangel, from Hot Line; Clayton Claudinei Nogueira, of Valspar; Miguel Marcos Salazar (Iquine), Amado Góis, from Hydronorth; José Carlos Martins (Renner Sayerlack) and Roberto Henrique Ritter, by Renner Herrmann.
