The chemical multinational Sartomer announced the appointment of Marcel de Wolf as its new CEO, replacing Luigi Colantuoni, who accepted a new assignment at Total S.A., Sartomer's partner company in Paris.
De Wolf will be responsible for the overall direction of the company that records $575 million in annual sales, 13 factories and nearly 600 employees and will be at the forefront of new investment projects in the Far East, America and Europe.
During his career, De Wolf has held different management positions at SigmaKalon BV, a multinational paints and coatings company. There he served as CEO of Sigma Coatings USA, Inc., a company that suffered the total loss in Hurricane Katrina, and whose activities were taken over by SigmaKalon-Netherlands.
