Europe. Dow Polyurethanes, a trade group within The Dow Chemical Company and its subsidiaries (Dow), announced that it has opened new markets in a major capacity expansion at its polyol plant in Terneuzen, the Netherlands. Dow's investment in the Terneuzen facility will expand polyol production capacity by approximately 180 kilotons per year. Dow announced that it would move forward with the detailed engineering phase of a capacity expansion at the Terneuzen plant that is planned to be completed by mid-2009. Currently, the plant's infrastructure is undergoing extensive modifications, including new tanks and charging stations. Dow Changes
