Argentina. The Argentine company Colorín celebrated eight decades of experience in the paint and architectural coatings sector with an event that fused sensory experience, brand identity and artistic involvement. The meeting was held at Sofitel La Reserva Cardales, in Buenos Aires, and brought together distributors, collaborators and allies of great importance.
Established in 1945 as a family business in Munro, Buenos Aires, the company has witnessed major changes in the sector and has gone through different phases of business. After his period at Materis Paints and Cromology, Colorín began a new period under the direction of Grupo Diso in 2018, which triggered a process of institutional renewal.
That same year, the brand modernized its image, retaining the characteristic colors – yellow, red and blue – and incorporating ascending brushstrokes that symbolize movement. Three years later, in 2021, it adopted the slogan "Color in Motion", which has guided its communication actions since then.
According to the web portal Pinturas & Negocios, the concept was taken up as the narrative axis of the 80th anniversary, which was celebrated with an immersive proposal that included light installations, sensory spaces and a live artistic intervention by the painter Mauro Crema, who turned the stage into a canvas in real time.
The experience also resonated on social networks, where several participants shared messages highlighting the visual identity of the event. "It was an honor to attend an event that accurately represents Colorín's identity," said some attendees.
Currently, the brand has operations in Argentina and Uruguay, with factories in San Luis and Córdoba, along with six logistics centers spread across both nations. During its 80 years, Colorín has maintained an unalterable commitment to proximity to customers and the renewal of its aesthetic and commercial offer.
