Argentina. Alba, Argentine brand of paints for home and work of the AkzoNobel Group, presents the color trends for the year 2024 at Casa FOA Parque de Innovación.
From September 15 to October 16, visitors will be able to explore these trends in the former Federal Tyre building. In addition, the event will include a space dedicated to the inspiration of a woman in her 60s, a woman who embraces freedom, pursues her dreams and celebrates her identity.
These color trends originate from the exchange of ideas between design experts worldwide, who seek to understand the direction the world is taking and what colors can accompany and give meaning to our mood.

The professionals participating in the 39th edition of Casa FOA, the design, architecture and industry exhibition that promotes the culture of Argentine design, take this interpretation and make it their own by showing how "design communicates" in the new Innovation Park, located in the old Federal Shooting building.
The color experts at the Global Center for Aesthetics worked hard to find a color that would breathe life into the warm and comforting sense of belonging. A soft, accessible color was chosen that would help a home feel like a sanctuary from the stresses of the outside world.
According to experts, this color, with a positive and delicate base, works excellently on its own in a simple decorative scheme, but also has the versatility to enhance other colors.
Inspired by the softness of feathers and the subtlety of sunset clouds, the Color of the Year selected was "Place of Affection". This can instill a sense of stability, calm, and friendliness in our environments both at home and at work. It is a delicate color that changes hue with light, but always brings warmth to a space.
In addition to being an independent, subtle and sophisticated shade, this color, previously listed as "Executive" in its antique palette, also provides a solid foundation for a wide variety of other colors. The three palettes they created revolve around him, each bringing a distinct personality.
At AkzoNobel's Center for Global Aesthetics, experts from various disciplines transform global trends into paint color palettes. To achieve this, they have conducted rigorous research for more than 20 years, collecting social, cultural and design ideas from 80 markets around the world.
Its objective is to anticipate and accompany consumers in the choice of colors with total confidence.
