United States. Micro Powders receives a silver medal for sustainability performance from EcoVadis, a provider of corporate sustainability ratings. MPI continues to maintain this status with an improved overall score since 2017.
"Receiving the silver rating is an important recognition of our commitment to sustainability," said Richard Czarnecki, vice president of Micro Powders. "Maintaining EcoVadis Silver status validates our ongoing initiatives to ensure a better future for all."
Micro Powders' score ranks in the 82nd percentile of all qualified companies. This score was achieved through an evaluation of the company's environmental, social, ethical and sustainability performance.
In other sustainability efforts, MPI continuously participates in the United Nations Global Compact. This initiative builds on Executive Directors' commitments to implement universal sustainability principles and take action to support UN goals.
The efforts are a testament to MPI's core values that everyone matters and the vision for the future will drive reduced environmental impact and greater social responsibility.
