International. In order to reflect the vibrant and optimistic identity of the brand, Fiat will present a wide range of 21 different shades as an alternative to the traditional grey colours on its vehicles.
Fiat has taken the strategic decision to cease production of grey vehicles. Stellantis, the parent company, has announced this move as part of its focus on new market trends and with the aim of highlighting the importance of colors in life.
This strategy seeks to add a distinctive element to Fiat cars in the market, as the year 2023 marks a significant change for the brand.
"We have defied the rules by deciding to end the production of grey vehicles. This action is bold and disruptive, and aims to further strengthen Fiat's leadership as the brand of joy, colours and optimism," said Olivier François, Fiat CEO and Global Head of Marketing at Stellantis.
"Italy is the country of colours, and from today, Fiat cars will be too," he added.
As part of this initiative, 21 different shades will be offered, and a new video has been released for customers to explore Fiat's new world of colours.
In the video, the CEO of the brand, Olivier François, on board the new Fiat 600e, immerses himself in the colors under the slogan "Italy, the land of colors; Fiat, the brand of colors".
According to the annual Global Color Popularity report, the favorite color of European buyers has been precisely gray, followed by black and white. It is also the preferred shade in the North American market and the third most chosen in Asia.
Fiat currently offers a wide selection of 21 different colour shades in its vehicle range.
These include nine solid color options and 12 metallic color options. Some of the available colors are: Gelato White, Sicilian Orange, Paprika Orange, Passione Red, Dipinto di Blu Blue, Italy Blue, Venezia Blue, Ocean Blue, Sky Blue, Rugiada Green, Forest Green, Rose Gold and Cinema Black.
