Peintures Prolux, part of the Protech Group, acquires the liquid coatings business of Evotech Peintures Industrielles (Evotech), based in Anjou, Quebec, Canada.

"This acquisition gives us additional strengths in water-based liquid coating and solvent technology and formulations, new relationships with multinational and local customers, and additional presence with strategically located manufacturing and service sites," Ades added.
Evotech is a liquid coatings manufacturer with a flagship production facility based in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada.
The company also has two service centers: one in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, and the other in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. All manufacturing and office equipment will continue to operate under the Protech Group brand.
Evotech's formulations, marketed in particular under the Acrythane brand, have been refined to achieve optimum performance in the window and door industry as well as in the commercial vehicle and heavy equipment industries.
