Latin America. The subsidiary of Bozkurt Plant Engineering, a manufacturer of surface finishing lines with more than 16 years of experience in the market and with operations in Turkey and Germany, seeks to approach the North American market.
The Turkish manufacturer of automated lines for surface finishes, BOCE Industrial Systems, inaugurated its new plant in Querétaro, Mexico. This involved an investment of 1.5 million dollars, according to the Secretariat of Economic Development of the entity.
BOCE is a company that designs and manufactures automatic lines to perform all kinds of finishes, such as galvanizing, anodizing, electrocoating, liquid and powder paint for customers serving various industries such as automotive, aerospace, agriculture and electronics, among others.
During the inauguration, the CEO of the company, Ahmet Bozkurt, said that the company decided to install this plant in Querétaro to be closer to the North American market and, in this way, enhance the growth of the company. He also thanked the support and follow-up by the local authorities.
The inaugural event was chaired by Marco Antonio Del Prete Tercero, Secretary of Economic Development of the entity, who said that the arrival of this company adds value to the Queretaro industry. According to him, this represents the industry that is behind large companies, as it is dedicated to developing the necessary machinery so that specific processes can be carried out.
"The Secretariat of Sustainable Development (SEDESU) is an ally of companies, we are here to help them grow, because if you do well, Querétaro does well," said Del Prete.
SEDESU issued a statement indicating that from January to July 2022 the machinery and equipment manufacturing sector produced 11,843 million pesos and grew 40.3%.
The agency states that this sector is the seventh that contributes the most to the total value of manufacturing production in the state, and that it generates 39,914 formal jobs.
