Latin America. The meeting of suppliers for the paint industry will take place from September 28 to 30 in Bogotá.
In halls 3 and 4 of the Gran Salón de Corferias de Bogotá will be held Pintando Colombia, a space that, within the framework of ColombiaPlast, will bring together manufacturers and producers of the Colombian paints and coatings industry.
There, visitors will find a wide range of companies supplying raw materials, machinery and supplies, accompanied by the latest developments and solutions for the sector.
Some of the exhibitors and suppliers present at the exhibition are 3M, Andercol, Avient, Basf, Bonema, Brenntag, Carboquímica, CAS, Lanzetta Rengifo, Merquiand, Parabor, Química Comercial Andina, Quimicoplásticos, Reciend, Rocsa, Siliconas y Químicos, Sucroal, Sygla, among others.
They will also be able to participate with a robust agenda of conferences and technical/commercial talks, through which some companies will present all the cutting edge in technology and innovations for the industry.
In recent statements, the secretary general of Acoplásticos y Acopinturas (organizers of the event), said that the paints and coatings industry in Colombia recovered strongly in 2021, with a double-digit expansion in sales.
"In the first quarter of 2021, the paints and coatings sector had a growth of 9% in production and 15% in sales, compared to the same period of the previous year," said Vergara, who pointed out that this was due to the growth of the remodeling segment, which has led to an increase in wholesale inventories, hardware stores and warehouses.
