Valspar, an American manufacturer of paints and coatings, announced the opening of the Valspar Colorverse web experience, a virtual metaverse home featuring the colors of the recent 2023 Colors of the Year brand announcement. Visitors can interact with the 12 Colors of the Year, create their own art with the colors and be entertained by a hypercasual game, called "Dash to DIY".
The Colorverse by Valspar is a 3D digital home, housed in valsparcolorverse.com. There, according to the company, people can explore and experience the company's year-long color palette, aimed at encouraging visitors to be inspired by the experience and use the colors in their own home.

Through Color-verse, visitors can experience the 12 colors of the year firsthand in a different way than Valspar has done before," said Sherwin-Williams Vice President of Brand Marketing Gus Morales.
Following the announcement of Valspar's Colors of the Year 2023, the launch of the Color-verse web experience allows visitors to demonstrate and see the 12 featured colors, as well as get inspiration for their next project after experiencing the colors firsthand on the metaverse.
"In addition to exploring the 12 colors of the year, the home is an attractive space for visitors to create art games and games and encourages visitors to ask for color samples to see how their primary color selections look and feel in their home," Morales added.
Visitors can navigate through checkpoints or roam freely using motion controls throughout the house.
