The next day, both the inauguration and a panel of experts will be held in the Tulip Hall and Dalia Hall, along with a series of conferences in English and Spanish. Speakers include Nelson Satoque of Wacker Polymers, who will talk about vinyl ethylene acetate (VAE) polymers for architectural paints.
Later Mario German, from Evonik, will be presented with the conference "Taking the heat: resins for high temperatures". In her wake, Beatriz Araujo Cortes, from Dow, will address the issue of state-of-the-art silicone resins, "high-performance sustainable solutions".
Later, Eduardo Santana, from Hexion, will present about emulsions for outdoor architectural paints with excellent resistance to fouling and reduced leaching of biocides. For his part, Dante I. Flores, by Anton Paar, will provide mechanical surface analysis; adhesion, hardness and elastic modulus.
Likewise, Petero Orizondo, from FQC, will focus on fibrillated cellulose: "unparalleled stabilizer and potentiator of film properties in aqueous formulations".
The day will conclude with a tour of the Casa Sauza and a mariachi show and folkloric ballet.
The next and last day of the event, Gerardo Bautista Méndez, from Wackler, will refer to hybrid resins modified for protection of industrial floors, "specialized technology with properties".
