International. The Chinacoat 2015 held at the end of November, and which this year reached its 20th edition, recorded new records in exhibition, number of exhibitors and visitors.
Some outstanding numbers of the fair are the following: Exhibition area: 70,000 square meters, 29,580 registered visitors, including 24,843 nationals and 4,737 foreign visitors. 1,088 exhibitors from 32 countries/regions, including 213 new exhibitors. 14,900 representatives of exhibiting companies attended the fair, 4,478 visitors participated in a total of 76 sessions of technical programs.
The 2015 show generated a new record attendance of visitors, those who came from domestic China increased by 11%. The results among the top five international visitor countries include Korea, India, Japan, Malaysia and the Taiwan region.
Sanjaya Ranjana Mohapatra, Asian Paints Limited, India commented, "It's my first time at Chinacoat. The global mix of exhibitors and the wide range of products provided me with a variety of sourcing options. I'm definitely going to come next year."
Similarly, exhibitors also expressed their satisfaction: James Shen, China Commercial Director of Elementis Specialties said, "The exhibition scale gets bigger every year, providing a great opportunity to show visitors from all over the world the advances we have made."
Milan Wilhelm Krumbe, Solvay's Global Marketing Director, commented: "We were able to see more visitors this year than in other editions. The show gave us the opportunity to introduce our products and services to many customers."
In 2016, Chinacoat will return to Guangzhou from November 30 to December 2.
