Costa Rica. The paints and coatings brand Glidden, which belongs to PPG Industries, signed an agreement with El Lagar warehouses, for the sale of its products in Costa Rica.
The agreement states that Glidden's paintings will be found only in the 17 stores of that chain of stores, which are located in cantons of the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM) and the Central Pacific of the country.
"Our brand of paints and coatings joins with another market leader for distribution in Costa Rica, with the aim of continuing to strengthen its presence in the country," said Horacio Dobal, Director of Marketing and Brand Latam of PPG Industries.
For Manrique Jiménez, commercial director of El Lagar, the agreement will be beneficial: "This agreement will allow us to strengthen relationships with the largest manufacturer of paints and coatings worldwide, which will benefit consumers as well, as they will have access to a world-class product."
