Troy Completes Ashland Business Acquisition

United States. Troy Corp. has completed the previously announced acquisition of Ashland Inc.'s industrial biocides business line.

This line known as Ashland Specialty Ingredients was formerly owned and operated by ISP Inc.

The acquired paint lines serve the paints and coatings, cutting fluids, power, and plastics market segments. Ashland's business unit, Consumer Specialties, which includes preservatives for the personal care market segment, is not part of the agreement with Troy.
