From November 20 to 24, 2011, the 18th version of the International Corrosion Congress will be held, the largest event of the International Corrosion Council (ICC), which takes place every three years in different countries.For next year, the Australian Corrosion Association (ACA) welcomes the international community in Perth, Australia. This congress aims to explore and understand the science of corrosion and how the behavior of materials can contribute to a sustainable future, with greater safety, less risk of failure and providing better use of materials, fuel and other resources.
Taking into account this purpose, the ICC invites professionals to submit their proposals and works for the congress, which should be addressed to the following sectors: aviation, concrete infrastructure, bridges, buildings and docks, defense and military, marine, mining and processing of minerals, oil and gas, as well as pharmaceutical, medical and food.
The closing of delivery of abstracts is on November 30, 2010, the acceptance of the works is on February 28, 2011 and the reception of them on May 31, 2011.
