One of the most recognized update scenarios in the Andean Region is Cubrecol, which in six years managed to position itself as the main event dedicated to the application, the last link in the production chain. This year, during the seventh version, the organization has decided to open its doors to the rest of Latin America, diversifying the topics and speakers to adjust to the sectoral reality of the region.
As part of the innovations, Cubrecol will present in 2010 four thematic axes, one of which will focus on the industrial and automotive sectors, thanks to a strategic alliance with Cesvi Mexico, a center specialized in research and training in car repair in Mexico and Central America. They will be in charge of analyzing the keys to have an excellent repainting process.
Through the Colombian Corrosion Association, Ascor, there will be another module dedicated to the analysis of corrosion including, as the main novelty, two conferences specialized in corrosion control in structures for mining exploitation.
Equipment and technologies for pretreatment and application will also have their space, as well as architectural and aeronautical coatings will also have their space in this edition of Cubrecol Americas that will be held in Medellín, Colombia on September 9 and 10.
