Latin America. The company was at the tenth edition of the most important fair of the coatings industry in Argentina, which took place this week at the Costa Salguero Center in Buenos Aires.

Peru. More than 200 Peruvian builders have received training in the application of new technologies for the protection of buildings and structures as part of a campaign for the professionalization of the sector, promoted by the German company BASF, through the MasterBuilders Solutions brand.

Colombia. The Corrosion Demo Show event, organized by the Colombian Association of Corrosion Engineers (Acicor) and Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla on July 11 and 12, will present two keynote speeches and twelve presentations by industry leaders, as well as products and services for corrosion prevention.

Colombia. The Colombian Association of Corrosion Engineers (Acicor) and NACE Colombia Section, together with the Universidad del Norte, present the NACE CIP 1 course, which offers knowledge to perform coating inspections using non-destructive techniques and instruments.

International. Axalta Coating Systems announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Terrence Hahn as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 4, 2018, succeeding Charlie Shaver, who served as Axalta's President and Chief Executive Officer since 2013. Hahn will also serve on the Board, expanding the size of the Board from eight to nine Directors.
