United States. Peninsula Polymers, a specialty chemicals distribution provider, has received the bronze sustainability rating from EcoVadis, an independent and trusted qualifications provider that assesses, among others, environmental performance and sustainable procurement practices.
As a result of EcoVadis' recent evaluation, Peninsula is in the process of implementing new internal programs to address improvement opportunities and has earmarked several capital expenditures to upgrade its facilities in Stone Mountain, GA, New Orleans, LA, and High Point, NC in 2023.
"We are thrilled to receive this recognition from EcoVadis for our ongoing efforts to put sustainability at the forefront of all our actions as a company," said Peninsula Polymers President Ken Moran.
