In addition to its flame retardant benefits, Hycar NH3069 offers excellent mechanical performance and greater clarity compared to particle coatings. Its inherent thermal stability during processing provides improved color compared to halogenated polymers. With fewer additives required, less mixing, fewer chemical inventories and faster cleaning are possible, resulting in higher manufacturing productivity. It can be applied using different techniques, including blade coatings (J-box), immersion and compression (filling), foam, gravure, screen printing and rod coating.
