Lanxess expands its Bayferrox portfolio of red iron oxide pigments for high-quality paint and coating applications, which now ranges from bluish tones, to new and brighter shades towards yellow.

The new Bayferrox New Red 500 series is manufactured exclusively using the Ningbo Process, based on patented technology, complying with high standards of environmental protection, such as water consumption and treatment, energy consumption, among others.

Among the characteristics of these pigments are high chromaticity and dye strength, milling parameters optimized for easy dispersion, even with low cutting power input, formulation with high loads without affecting viscosity performance, good optical appearance of gloss and high compatibility with formulation ingredients such as fillers, resin extenders and binders.
