International. The French company Enercool has launched a new generation of ceiling paint on the market, formulated with eggshells.
This development not only marks a milestone in sustainability, but also significantly reduces the carbon footprint of its products, incorporating 25% recycled raw materials instead of traditionally extracted calcium carbonate.
Enercool was founded in 2020 by Maxime Claval, a thermal engineer who was responsible for Partnerships and Innovation at Qivivo and responsible for business development at Enercoop. Attracted to entrepreneurship for years, he decided to combine his convictions and experience to offer a solution to fight climate change.
Specializing in solutions for cool roofs, Enercool has been recognized for its reflective and heat-resistant paints, as well as waterproof membranes that protect buildings of all types, from industrial to residential and public such as schools and kindergartens. Now, with its strategic partnership with Circul'Egg, a leader in eggshell recycling, Enercool is not only driving innovation in the construction industry, but also contributing to improved environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
Maxime Claval, President of Enercool, said: "This new paint is more than just an eco-friendly solution; It is a testament to our commitment to the environment and energy efficiency in construction. With outstanding scores on the Environmental and Health Declaration Sheets (FDES), our paints are leading the way to a greener future for the cool roof industry."
With the growing concern about CO2 emissions in construction, innovative solutions such as Enercool's eggshell paint are becoming more and more crucial. This development not only responds to market demands, but also sets new standards for sustainability in the cool roof sector.
