International. Caldic becomes the first distributor to introduce biocircular solvents developed by Shell Chemicals International to the market.
Caldic Europe is expanding its portfolio of biocircular solvents to include sustainable ethyl proxitol, building on its established relationship with Shell Chemicals.
This collaboration is fully aligned with Caldic's strategic goals of expanding its product and service offerings with a lower environmental impact for its customers.
Biocircular solvents respond to the growing demand for more sustainable solvent-based formulations. They can be used in various applications, such as paints, inks, industrial and household cleaners, as well as cosmetic and toiletry product formulations.
Through the mass balance approach, it is possible to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of these products. Caldic also offers advanced storage facilities certified with ISCC PLUS to support the handling and storage of bio-based products.
The expansion of the biocircular solvent offering, combined with the ISCC PLUS certified supply chain, will be critical for Caldic to help its customers make significant progress on their sustainability journey. Collaborating with us allows our partners to enrich their product range with sustainable alternatives.
"Interest in products with a reduced environmental impact is on the rise and we are committed to contributing solutions that support the principles of the bioeconomy and circular economy in sectors such as food, feed, chemicals and more. This new line of biocircular solvents will be of great value to our customers, helping them achieve their sustainability goals without compromising quality or performance," said Roger Collis, Senior Development Manager Europe.
