Colombia. The paint company renews its image and aligns itself with the visual elements of AkzoNobel's renowned decorative paint brands in the world.
Pintuco's new brand image is in line with the visual elements of AkzoNobel's renowned decorative paint brands in the world, a multinational that acquired Pintuco in 2022. This evolution will allow the advantages to materialize in terms of portfolio, communication, digital platforms and global and regional value propositions.
In this new image, color is the fundamental element, which is evidenced through the Flourish, a brushstroke of multiple colors that is associated with the mission of giving color to people's lives, and that is present in 11 brands of decorative paints and in 52 markets around the world, including Central America. Ecuador and now Colombia. In this way, Pintuco's mission and leadership in the color industry stands out more strongly.
According to Juan Carlos Moreno, head of decorative paints in Central America and the Andean Zone at AkzoNobel, "At Pintuco, as a brand of one of the largest painters in the world, we seek to enrich the offer of paint products and make it possible for the market to have access to a broader, more sustainable and innovative portfolio. For us, it's about providing solutions that preserve the best of what we have today, while creating an even better tomorrow."
The new brand image retains the traditional name of Pintuco, recognizing that through it a history of more than 79 years has been built in the local market and has earned an important space in the minds and hearts of Colombian and regional consumers.
This evolution also brings new products. As of July 1, Pintuco will introduce to the Colombian market Viniltex Ultrawashable, a high-performance and durable acrylic paint for interiors, with ultra protect resist technology, which repels liquids, facilitating the process of cleaning walls.
Likewise, the leading Koraza exterior paint is relaunched, with a new formula that offers long-lasting reinforced protection against fungi and algae, to keep facades protected and clean for much longer.
The new image is available at different points of sale from July 1. In addition, it is important that Pintuco's current consumers and customers keep in mind that the products in the portfolio will continue to bear the names by which they are recognized in the market.
Under the conviction that color changes more than just walls, and that it has the power to transform and improve people's lives, Pintuco, as part of the activities to strengthen its brand, will paint 20 courts throughout Colombia through its Foundation.
According to Juan Carlos Moreno "Together with our foundation we want to paint a more beautiful world and for this we are going to choose 20 fields in strategic areas of social investment in different cities of the country, such as: Medellín, Bogotá, Cali and Barranquilla. We have selected the fields because these are spaces for recreation and community activity, where young people and children practice sports, adults meet and large events in the neighborhoods are held."
This initiative will begin in July and will be completed in December of this year. Some of the criteria that will be taken into account for the selection of the sports venues to be intervened are: that they are public fields located in areas of social investment, have the institutional participation of the municipal mayors or the entities in charge of recreation and sports, and have community involvement.
- Publicidad -"To paint a more beautiful world we know that we must do it together with the communities, our purpose is to carry out this work under the methodology of our foundation, with which we seek not only to beautify but to achieve the appropriation of the community so that they are participants in the transformation we want to achieve," added Juan Carlos Moreno.
