Argentina. Holcim Argentina, a sustainable solutions company for construction, presented its 11th Sustainability Report covering its performance during the year 2022.
It shows the progress of its Sustainability plan focused on four areas of work in which Holcim makes its greatest contribution: climate and energy, circular economy, nature and people.
The initiative "Accelerating sustainable growth", within the framework of Strategy 2025, ratifies, according to the company, Holcim's progress and commitment, which seeks to make the company a global leader in innovative and sustainable construction solutions.
"This means being at the forefront of decarbonization in construction throughout its entire lifecycle to build a net-zero carbon future that looks at people and the planet, while delivering record performance," the company says.
The CEO of Holcim Argentina, Christian Dedeu, emphasized: "The impacts of climate change and the accelerated growth of the pace and magnitude of urbanization are some of the urgent challenges facing cities in this century."
"We believe that the construction industry has a fundamental role. At Holcim, we are taking a holistic view, focusing on the decarbonisation of construction throughout its life cycle," he added.
In line with its strategy, last year, Holcim unveiled its new purpose and identity, marking a milestone behind its goal of building progress for people and planet.
