Argentina. In August of this year, Sinteplast, an Argentine company that manufactures and markets paints, coatings and construction materials, celebrates 65 years of history.
"65 years ago in the garage of a house we began to dream of installing the first mills for the manufacture of our products," says the company about the emergence in the 50s when Raúl Rodríguez started his own paint factory.
The path began in the garage of the family home, a villa located on Palmar Street, in Lomas del Mirador. There, Raúl together with his wife Amelia and their four children installed the first mills for the manufacture of paints.
In 1970, Rodríguez acquired land to set up the new factory, which he named "Sinteplast". That same year Miguel Ángel, his eldest son, joined and only a few years later Rubén, Claudio and Gabriel joined.
In 1984, this family project expands with the acquisition of land in Virrey del Pino, party of La Matanza. Almost simultaneously and seeing the rapid development of the brand in paint shops, they also decided to buy land in the new Industrial Park of San Luis to centralize there the greater production capacity of the architectural lines.
In 1991 the color system is launched in Argentina with the first machine that allowed to prepare up to 2000 colors in the paint shop. In just four months, 50 machines were installed in different parts of the country and in less than two years 250 machines were operating.
"65 years accompanying projects from beginning to end to workshops, artists and industry," adds the company, which has three production plants in Argentina: Buenos Aires – Ezeiza, San Luis and Córdoba.
To these are added others in Bolivia (Santa Cruz de la Sierra), Uruguay (Montevideo), Brazil (Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo) and Paraguay (Asunción).
"This year we celebrate our journey, remember the road traveled, the obstacles overcome and how much we grew together, inspiring a future of infinite possibilities," the company concludes.
