This new product is a perfect example to showcase Evonik's sustainability strategy for the paints, coatings and inks industry.

According to the company, TEGO Foamex 812 focuses on minimized environmental impact and maximized hand footprint by enabling formulators to develop environmentally friendly, high-performance, low-VOC water-based formulations.
TEGO Foamex 812 is a new generation eco-friendly water-based defoamer. It is an antifoam with a 100% active material content with polyether-modified polysiloxane technology that offers an excellent balance between antifoaming efficacy and compatibility, while meeting increasingly stringent regulatory requirements.
TEGO Foamex 812 does not contain biocides and does not require SVHC labelling. It can be used in formulations that comply with current IKEA standards and the EU Ecolabel 2014/312/EU, etc.
