The foaming agent Opteon 1100 is a new generation product with low global warming potential (GWP). As part of an insulating foam, this product provides exceptional energy efficiency, long-term thermal resistance, material compatibility and extended initial formulation life.

Opteon 1100 foaming agent is a hydrofluoroolefin (HFO)-based solution that can replace hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), and hydrocarbons (HC) in urethane-based foam applications. Its chemistry gives aerosol polyurethane foam insulation a longer lifespan, giving contractors more flexibility and reducing waste.
