Latin America. The tenth edition of REPORT, the congress and exhibition for technicians in paints, inks and adhesives, will be held on September 6, 7 and 8 at the Costa Salguero Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
After a period of inactivity due to the pandemic, professionals, experts and academic researchers from the industries in the field of coatings, inks, and adhesives will meet again to reveal the latest developments and proposals from each of the sectors involved.
The topics that will be the focus of attention in this next Congress Report 2022 are those related to raw materials, especially sustainable ones, provision and substitution of them. Likewise, the improvements in the efficiency and safety of production processes, the rational consumption of energies, the reduction of waste emissions of gases that affect the environment, as well as better channels and methods of customer service, the circular economy, durability and analysis of the life cycle of the products will be exposed, among others.
The event is organized by the Ibero-American Technological Association of Paints, Adhesives and Inks (Atipat) with the execution by Expotécnica SRL.
There will be three days in which those present will be able to update themselves on new scientific advances and technological innovations that will be very useful to optimize performance, functionality, and the application of coatings, inks and adhesives, as well as everything related to product quality controls and manufacturing.
Although each day begins at 8.00 a.m. with the congress for the different visitors, in the afternoon, the two auditoriums of the place will be given for the different technical-commercial talks to be developed, outside the exhibition of more than 40 supplier companies. These will be developed within a framework of adaptation to the new local legislations and those that are trending in the international market.
The opening talk will be given by Marcos A. Basso, member of the Technical Committee of the Brazilian Association of Ink Manufacturers (Abrafati). This will revolve around changes in consumer habits and their impact on the development of new products in the paint market.
